I took a painting class, and bought some acrylics, and an easel, and it's just been so wonderful to work with all the colors and the smoothness. And the ease at which you can suggest details, and make things look like what they're supposed to with maybe just a few quick flicks of the wrist...It's wonderful! Although if that was detrimentally affecting it it wouldn't work at all, I suppose. Lately, in general, my desire to draw has increased from its six-month hiatus. The problem is, with some things I want to draw, I need certain art supplies. And currently all I have is mechanical pencils and a couple soft lead pencils. You can understand how frustrating this is.
